Its not all about aerial images and video, we specialise in ortho-mosaic site imaging as well as being Class 1 certified for Thermal surveying. If you have existing solar arrays, we can provide full reports on the thermal integrity of arrays and help spot maintenance issues that may not be obvious on large deployments. Get in touch if we can be of assistance.

A recent overview video created for a client... and also a great lesson! Most of the aerial footage had to be shot again due to direct sunlight being too powerful, especially against the lighter coloured bricks. I left some of the overexposed content in this version which you will be able to spot easily. Direct sunlight onto surfaces causes huge problems with content creation, ND filters can help but in this case even an ND64 couldn't save the footage in post from being blown out and overexposed.

You wish for the sun all year... unless you are a drone pilot and/or videographer... then you rush for your ND filters and start praying for cloudy weather 🤣

A few shots from Lochore Meadows Country Park last night whilst doing some test flying/mapping. Its been a poor week of weather so took the opportunity with a break in the wind and rain to get some shots of the Mary Pit Wheel and the Loch!

The second video following the Findhorn Viaduct video dropped earlier this week. A little further South and a real landmark in the Highlands. Enjoy this short video of the Ruthven barracks site in Badenoch.

A short video clip of the recent flight completed at the Findhorn Viaduct. Not a commercial flight but it was en-route to a job in Inverness and I couldn't resist the chance to get a shot in this stunning Highlands location.

A few shots taken earlier this season at KDM Group East End Park for Dunfermline Athletic FC. A brilliant season on and off the field and I cant wait for the 26/27 season to start! I will be supporting ParsTV again next season as we look to take the leap from the Scottish Championship and into the top flight.

Structural surveys in Inverness yesterday and the weather was stunning... which gave the opportunity to capture some footage of 2 sites along the A9 which might look familiar to anyone who has made the drive North.

The Ruthven barracks are visible from the A9 as you pass Kingussie and are a phenomenal site with the Highlands backdrop. A scheduled monument in Scotland, built in 1719 and destroyed by the Jacobites after their retreat from the battle of Culloden, the superstructure is largely intact to this day.

The Findhorn Viaduct is a real treat, located just North of the Barracks site next to the town of Tomatin. The viaduct was built in 1897 by Murdoch Patterson and James Fowler who also worked on the design for the Forth Road Bridge. Rubble piers and a latticed steel structure make up the railway deck in what is a stunning Highlands location, only bettered by the more famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Full videos of both sites will be up in the coming days!

Another day and another roof condition survey in Edinburgh this time. A "new build" (less than 20 years) with substantial moss growth around the chimney stack... fuelled by larger overhanging trees to the rear. Not a huge issue at th emoment but this has the potential to cause major issues down the line. With solar panels being planned for this surface, pre install maintenance will be required as well as proactive cleaning on future panels which have a high chance of collecting green algae growth.
