Buxton Photo Challenge is once again taking place this year on Saturday 26th July 2025. When you come along to register, between 10 and 11am, we will give you the 6 themes. Your challenge is then to take one photo for each of the themes, taken in the right order, in 6 hours. You can interpret the themes in any way you like, but try to be original and creative. It sounds easy but is actually quite
demanding - in a good way! Come and give yourself a challenge and stretch your creativity. When you have completed the challenge, return before 4pm with your 6 photos. You can use phone or camera to take your photos - the choice is yours. If you are using a camera, you will need to start the day with an empty memory card. If you are using your phone, you must only have the 6 photos in your gallery for that day. And of course, all photos have to be taken in the right chronological order.
£5 for adults and £3.50 for under 18's. High Peak Photography Club (formerly Chapel Camera Club) will award prizes for the best photo in each theme. Winners will be announced on Facebook & High Peak Photography Club website.
