The results are in!

A lot of you commented your guesses on the last post and honestly, the responses were clossee. Some of you got it straight away. Some of you were confident… and wrong 😅. And a few of you said you genuinely couldn’t tell.

The goal was never to stump you. It was to show that a trained eye produces a trained result — regardless of the tool.

The equipment was never the differentiator. You are.

Everyone’s asking “Is AI replacing photographers?”
Wrong question.

A tool is only as good as the person using it. And honestly? I can always tell when something is AI. Not because the hands look weird or the eyes are off. Because it just doesn’t feel right. The lighting, the styling, the composition... something’s missing.

These images in this carousel aren’t AI showing off. They work because I know what a believable editorial looks like. I know what lighting works and what styling works.
That’s not an AI skill. That’s a photography skill.

Give 100 people the same camera and you won’t get the same image. Give those same 100 people the same AI tool and you still won’t get the same image. The advantage was never the tool.

And yes, I still love photography. Nothing replaces that for me. But ignoring AI is a mistake. It’s here. The people who learn to use it well will have the edge. Not because the tech is doing the work, but because they already understand what makes an image work.

So I’ll leave you with this:
If everyone has access to the same tools... what becomes the advantage?

Getting back into the habit of showing up! 💪🏽

Life didn’t go exactly how I planned, but I’m grateful for where I’ve landed and what I’ve been building over time. I’m standing more confidently in it now and looking ahead to what’s next.

What are you building in this season?

Guilty! 😅
I haven’t been posting like I could have. Not because I don’t have content, but because I sit on it.

I think that’s the introvert in me. I create, I reflect, I overthink… and then I wait.

This is me choosing accountability over comfort.
Here’s to showing up more consistently in this space 🧪
Back in the lab.

Quick question for you:
Do you struggle with posting too? If you do, what’s helped you push past it?
