• On the River Nidd | 🇬🇧 •

The reflections on the river Nidd at Knaresborough are so much like a mirror that it can be hard to tell what’s up and what’s down.

Hope you’ve managed to keep the right side up this week 😆

The Mare’s Fall

Named after the rapid equine thunder of its falling water, The Mare’s Fall is a double cascade plunging fifteen metres into a narrow pool. The waterfall is situated in Glenariff Forest Park and makes up one of three main cascades. The waterfall trail is a spectacular 3km hike well worth the effort as it meanders through magical woodlands and along the glorious glen. A place worthy of its nickname as “Queen of the Glens” and a perfect example of Ireland’s emerald magnificence.

Hope you are having a super Sunday 🙌🏻

The Giant’s Causeway

Made up of approximately 40,000 black basalt columns sticking out of the sea, this striking sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland. An Irish giant, Finn McCool, picked a fight with Scottish giant, Benandonner. Legend has it that the giants despised each other. One day after suffering insults from Benandonner, Finn built a path to reach Scotland, which was then ripped up by Benandonner. The result was the Giant’s Causeway.

Myths and legends aside, geological studies show that this remarkable landscape was caused by volcanic activity some 50–60 million years ago.

Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend 🤗

Once upon a time

This extraordinary avenue of beech trees was planted in the eighteenth century with the intention to create a compelling landscape feature to impress and dazzle visitors as they approached the entrance to Gracehill House, a Georgian mansion. This magnificent site is truly a sight to behold and it’s no wonder it has become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland. And yes, Game of Thrones fans, this is the Kings road 😁

Hope your week has been great so far!

The dramatic Cornish coastline at Bedruthan softened by pretty wildflowers. The landscape is synonymous with shipwrecks, smugglers and spectacular clifftop views which look out over the Bedruthan Steps where colossal, pointed stacks march out of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend 🤗

This image was taken during the UK shooters for the creators meet up in Birmingham. The meet up involved a large number of photographers, models, and creatives. It was quite an exciting event because the aim was to capture something a bit different to be in with the chance of winning a Sony creators...

• Manhattan Flare | NYC, 🇺🇸 •

I always do a couple of test shots prior to setting up for a long exposure to look for appealing composition and light. This is one of those test shots prior to the long exposure I posted a few days ago. The flare definitely caught my eye so I thought I’d share another shot from this location (Brooklyn Bridge Park) with you.

Hope the weekend has been good to you! 😁
