We disappeared for a weekend to watch the sunrise at mam tor, then sped off from there to the lake district once again ๐ฅฐ
I was actually anxious for the first time ever that my once-nimble mountain pup wouldnt handle the same sort of hikes as we once did now shes 11.5 years old (turns out we went up snowdon 8 years ago today!)... but even though she doesnt bomb off to the top anymore and show off (well she did a bit ๐) she reminded me that she is, and will always be, one of the best adventure dogs I ever could have asked for. I wish I had prioritised my time away with her more these last few years, you don't get them back.
But how lucky I am that I still get to do this with her, and how fortunate is she that her hearing isnt that great anymore... and therefore cant hear me telling her to not eat my mid-hike snacks ๐๐ literally straight out of my hand!
Anyway, just a reminder to go adventure with your dogs ๐

If it aint obvious I really dislike being that side of the camera ๐
