Hey! Sooo, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and putting myself in front of the lens and not behind it! But I’m shooting more video these days so I wanted to get some more editing and shooting practice in. 📹Stay to the end to see me mess up the whole gaff. ✌️

I just wanted to have a little chat about something that I speak about a lot (to close friends) and feel v passionate about - but I wanted to put it together in a *nearly* cohesive way! I honestly can’t believe we’re still having these conversations in 2024 but here we are.

Such a low percentage of the creative industries are made up by women and I think it’s time to change that!!! I try within my own teams to make them as inclusive as possible and GUESS WHAT!?!?

It’s SO easy?! Who’d have thought it and most importantly the quality of work was still immaculate. We’re just as good as our male counterparts - please let us shine!! We're seeing more creative work addressing women's issues, but peek behind the curtain…Not a woman in sight!!

We still have a long way to go and I’d love to see people that are hiring crews, to be more open and willing to give us a chance. I promise you won’t regret it. And to all the women & non male crew members - you got this!!! We will keep pushing through and eventually will be heard and seen and BOOKED AND BUSY!! (but also well rested). ✨

I have some google sheets/docs that have lists of non-male crew members - if you wanna be a part of it, let me know. And I’m always happy to share this with people that are looking to take on freelancers. Let's lift each other up, I'm here to support, not tell you off!

tour, Wednesday night at the iconic Jazz Cafe, photos and write up by me, for - allow the colloquial style, I write how I speak. 😂.

The warm-up acts, , and showcased diverse styles, reminiscent of a '90s hip-hop night where individuality thrived yet seamlessly mixed together. Also gotta add a shout out to (Sindysman’s girlfriend) who came up to perform too - the most angelic jazz voice - I honestly just stood there smiling at the stage! And we can’t forget to mention the crazy talented

Jehst came onto the stage and the energy in the room increased. He did a mix of old and new tracks, even played, in the words of Jehst: “the one your nan would know from BBC Radio 6” - ‘One Horse Town’. Jehst’s stage presence was lively, taking up the whole stage and interacting with the crowd. It was lush to hear the crowd rapping back to Jehst, at one point taking over and Jehst allowing the crowd to just do his part for a bit. ‘England’ sounded poignant, even more relevant than ever, even though it was released in 2011, every word still resonates today, “There ain't nothing great about Britain”.

Jehst also brought out for the second half of the night, these two together are next level! Their energy and the crowds' energy still increasing, it really was a special night to be a part of.

Nike Trail Gore-Tex mock up ✨📸

Whatever the weather, Just Do It.

This year's all about manifesting the work I want to shoot. All of my shoots so far this year seem to align with me ✨ so manifesting a shoot with Nike would be laaaavly. Been a Nike girl since I was about 11 - making my mum n dad spend their hard earned cash on a white Nike hoody is a strong memory of mine hahah.

Whenever someone comes over to my flat they mention the amount of shoes I have so here's a little nod to them, atleast I create content with the shoes I bring into the house. 💪

I had a shoot cancellation this week but was really in the mood to go shoot something. I put a callout on my stories and thankfully David responded and joined me on a photo walk.

(also thank you for braving the FREEZING weather and listening to me chatting s**t hahah). - it was so cold on this shoot that our hands were literally falling apart, had to sneak some hand cream from some fancy as f place in spitalfields.

Here's a selection of what we shot on our photo walk around east. Really happy with how these turned out. So many colours and different vibes to work with.

We also bumped into the photo legends, and - they recommended a great location to go shoot in nearby, swipe to number 9 to see it. Appreciate you both!

Happy new year to everyone - hope your year is full of success and happy times. (And lots of invoices paid on time!!!)

Going back to last year tho! One of my highlights of 2023 was going back to NYC.

I had a nightmare with my film camera last time I went, so this time I just took out my instax. (they scanned this at the airport which is meant to f*ck up this film but luckily I think it just made it a bit cloudier). Couldn't of coped with another full set being ruined.

So here's some little instax moments taken over 7 days in December.

When your mate's working in NY, you can't turn down the opportunity to go stay with them! Thanks Charlie, I doubt I'll ever get to stay in this location ever again 🥹😂. The views were literally insane, I fu***ng love this city.

Here's a few snaps from our trip, only took a 50mm lens with me, fancied a challenge, and didn't wanna carry loads of kit around with me.

The salvation army dancer was absolute perfection, his vibes were unmatched, literally oozing happiness 🥹.

Also shout out to community for setting up a photography meet up while I was out there, so lush to meet NY photographers and get some insight to the industry there. Also got loads of biscuits to feast on so thank you haha!

Oh and I now also want to live and and work in NY :( someone help me out and sponsor me 😂❤️

In summer I was asked by Mindhouse productions to take some photographs alongside the filming of Lockerbie, a new documentary by and the Mindhouse team.

Jim and Jane Swire were tragically affected by the Lockerbie terror attack. Their daughter, Flora, was on the flight and ever since then Jim has fought to prove the truth.

Their home was scattered with memorabilia and photos of Flora.

This was an emotional shoot to be on and me and the Mindhouse team wanted the shots to feel reflective like some of my previous work.

I went out into the garden with Jim and Jane after their interview with the team to get some of these style photos. They're just the sweetest people 💔.

Here's a few more highlights and special moments from the beautiful Welsh countryside this summer.

Loved having so many different things to shoot in the same space, literally spent the whole three days running around trying to grab the best bits of everything.

Camp VC, where nature meets adrenaline in the heart of Llangollen. 🏞️✨

Firstly, the landscapes of Llangollen are stunnning. This women's and non-binary-only moto and outdoor adventure fest was full of vibes and heartwarming connections. 🌈✨

From capturing rides against the backdrop of breathtaking views to diving into handstand workshops and winning the limbo competition (yes, that happened!), it was a journey beyond expectations.

My anxiety before the festival was insane, but it soon went after arriving. A massive shoutout to my family for adopting me and turning this anxious wreck into an adventure enthusiast. 💕

Thank you, for letting me be part of the magic, for the new ink from and the unmatched sense of belonging. 📸🌟 Here's to fearless people, beautiful landscapes, and the kindest souls on wheels 👏
