Between 2010 and 2015 a global trend saw lovers attaching padlocks to bridges around the world — from Paris's Pont des Arts to Toowoomba's Picnic Point.🔓

But the extra weight from the locks proved too much for many of the bridges.🌉

In 2014, a section of the Paris bridge collapsed under the weight of the locks, and local authorities began to remove the locks in June the following year.⛔

You can spot them in London, on Southbank in the proximity of Millennium Bridge.💘

Snowy London Part II.
Here are some facts about UK snow which I bet you didn't know:

❄ 1.65M : The deepest snow in the UK recorded near Ruthin in North Wales in March 1947.

❄ 1947: The snowiest winter of the 20th century in the UK, between 22 January and 17 March. Snow fell EVERY DAY somewhere in the country.

❄15.6 : Average days across the UK when snow is on the ground.

❄76.2 : The average number of days a year that snow falls in Cairngorm, Scotland, which is statistically the snowiest place in the UK. Cornwell is the least likely to get snow (7.4 days a year)
