M & J found each other studying abroad — the kind of meet-cute that should absolutely be in a film. And fittingly, the vibe they wanted for their shoot was straight out of one: the quiet warmth of Wim Wenders’ Perfect Days. Not the big grand cinematic moments, Just two people who are genuinely glad to be alive in the same place, same time, no longer separated by borders
J is a product designer, and it showed — he’d thought carefully about how the shoot would look and coordinated outfits accordinly. M’s red jumper against the green of Primrose Hill was part of that vision, and a color that will be significant in their Indian wedding. Shooting on the hill where they first said those three words felt like the only place that made sense.
One detail they taught us: in Russian tradition, the wedding ring is worn on the right hand, rooted in Eastern Orthodox custom where the right hand carries honour and blessing. M wore her engagement ring and wedding band on separate hands 💍🤲💍 one for each tradition. Two cultures, sitting quietly together in harmony, the way they do.
We can’t wait for their Indian wedding reception. Something tells us that’s going to be a day! ❤️💚
If you’re planning a multicultural celebration and want photos that hold all of it — the meaning, the movement, the ordinary moments in between — drop us a message. We’d love to be there. 👇
