Kobi Levi is a shoe designer whose work gained widespread attention after Lady Gaga wore one of his striking creations in the Born This Way music video. That moment marked a turning point in his career, as it showcased his artwork.

Levi’s work is instantly recognisable for its sculptural, almost surreal quality. He approaches shoes as wearable artworks, often drawing inspiration from everyday objects and visual illusions.

His designs frequently play with perception, where heels will morph into unexpected forms and silhouettes challenge balance. This is all done to create pieces that feel both playful and conceptually driven.

He has since established his own studio, where each piece is handcrafted. This hands-on process allows him to maintain complete creative control, ensuring that every design retains its originality and precision. Through this approach, Levi continues to push the boundaries of footwear design, carving out a niche that is both avant-garde and unmistakably his own.

Serena , co-owner and co-founder of , talked about why she and started the platform and honestly, their vision hit differently. NEXMARKET isn’t just an event or a showcase. It’s a space built to spotlight the creators, designers, artists and entrepreneurs shaping tomorrow.

Serena spoke about how she and You You Zhou founded the business together with a purpose: to challenge the present and help imagine what comes next not in some distant future, but starting now.

They want to celebrate the fearless people pushing boundaries in their industries, and create a place where the next generation of makers can be seen, supported, and inspired. It’s about community, possibility, and the belief that what’s coming next isn’t something to wait for it’s something we build.

At , I had the chance to speak with Daniele Illiano about what truly matters to him as a designer and you can feel how personal it is.

For Daniele, producing his pieces in Rome isn’t just about geography. It’s pride. It’s keeping the research, the materials, and the craftsmanship rooted in Roma. Everything is carefully sourced, with a strong focus on natural fabrics and sustainability not because it sounds good, but because it feels right to him.

One of the things that stood out most was his patchwork technique. He shared how he started reusing leftover materials even fabrics his brother would have thrown away and turning them into something meaningful.

He also spoke about the 2/2 initials in his brand mirrored, almost like a symbol of duality. And you can see that balance in his work: structure and softness, Italian craftsmanship with a clear love for Japanese fashion influences.
It’s thoughtful, intentional design grounded in heritage, but open to the world.

There’s something powerful about the idea that no matter what life looks like behind the scenes, you still get up, get dressed, and show up.

Today I attended Moodi’s latest collection presentation a story rooted in real life. The highs and the heaviness. The Sundays that feel carefree and light, and the Mondays that arrive whether we’re ready or not. Because no matter how much fun you had yesterday, Monday will still happen. And you still have to show up as your best self.

The designer spoke about resilience how sometimes simply getting dressed is an act of strength. A quiet decision to keep going. To push yourself forward. To step into the woman you’re becoming, even if you’re still carrying yesterday with you.

Pardis, stylist and partner of the brand, echoed that same sentiment painting the picture of everyday life: a woman juggling her coffee, her laundry, her responsibilities, her ambitions. The beauty in the ordinary. The power in the routine.
Because sometimes fashion isn’t just about what you wear its armor. It’s discipline. It’s a reminder that even while carrying the weight of real life, you can still carry yourself with intention.

This collection is about dressing for the life you’re building, not just the moment you’re in.
