Three moments with Dr Hannah.
Hannah was a runner up in one of my headshot giveaways, which was lucky for me as I needed the entertainment. Even though she’s a doctor and activist and hugely influential person, I felt like I was photographing a famous comedian - not just because she made me laugh every five seconds, but because she has that “it” factor that tells me she’s going to go far! Great jokes, great politics and great human.

Portrait of the artist…
A lot of my newer followers might not know this but I have a long background in art and curating, so being back in Helena Boase’s studio was a bit of a homecoming. The light danced for a few moments and lit up her hair as I shot a study of her at work.

It was lovely to work in such surroundings - have done an amazing job making these studios pleasant for artists and makers. Helena also works at who hold painting and sculpting classes for budding artists.

It was a pleasure to update ’s headshots last week. She’s just got an exciting new job and hadn’t had any photos done in years - I recommend an update for corporate headshots every three years to keep things ticking along. Even though Rachelle had been a little out of practice, once she got in front of the camera she remembered her days as a model - I think you can tell!
