Head on with an osprey. I love it when the ospreys take off from runway 28 at mildenhall towards johns field because sometimes they stay nice and low and dip the nose straight at you like this obliging CV-22 osprey from the 7th SOS.

I miss going to Marham and seeing the Tornados. The Royal Air Force is nothing like it used to be with only 3 front line fighter bases in the country.

My son and I went out today to marks tey to go and see the kings flypast. This is a brief video of some of the aircraft involved. C-17, P-8, A330,RC-135 Typhoons, F-35B , Red Arrows.
Unfortunately no where near the spectacle that we used to get in the 90s and early 2000s but shouldn't complain. I will.complain its w**k in comparison.

Italian air force Tornado fully swept at the royal international air tattoo. Its s shame thay like most fighters nowadays they are being replaced with the F-35. The airshow scene in a few years will be nothing but lines of boring grey F-35s. Gone are the days of a mixture of aircraft on the flightline.

AC-130U Gunship head on approach at RAF Mildenhall. Great to see this variant with the 3 cannons hanging out the side of it.
Not sure if these have all been replaced now with the AC-130J.
Love how R2D2 is hanging out the underside of the nose.
