Flightdeck photography can be extremely difficult, moving at hundreds of miles an hour in often bumpy air… which becomes even more challenging at night.

This really is an amazing capture of Mother Nature at work, putting a totally different spin on this bad weather challenge! Just wow👌🏻

This moody bad weather edit is captured brilliantly, with awesome contrast and the red remove before flight tags popping through.

This shot is a great example where bad weather and flat grey overcast skies can really add in that extra mood, which works really well with the head on angle of this mighty jet🔥

(📸 ) We absolutely love this incredible image by Rahul, taken at our recent Live Lounge Heathrow Event.

We had some really challenging weather for the photoshoot but Rahul really nailed it with this edit.

The tight crop is a great way to focus on some of the finer details and having the people in the shot really puts the size of the A380 into perspective✈️

This incredible edit by Bradley captures one of the most iconic aircraft, the English Electric Lighting.

To think the amount of hours this aircraft has spent soaring the skies… now hanging dormant in a hangar.

Another brilliant of example of how lighting alone can really make an image pop. By dropping the shadows right down to black, was able to create some incredible contrast! Great work!

(📸 ) Amazing edit for this week’s B&W Challenge of this PC-12 at Bournemouth Airport!✈️

Making black and white edits really pop is not easy, as they can often end up looking somewhat grey. What’s really important is to use the full tonal range of black through to white, just like has done here👌🏻

What also makes this edit even more awesome is the use of lighting on the tarmac, drawing your eyes away from the bottom of the frame and towards that shiny 7-blade PC-12!

Proof that you don’t need colour to make an image pop😎💥

This (almost black and white😅) shot here is an awesome example of using the full tonal range of black through to white for a really dramatic edit which just leaps from your feed…
