My name is Laura Porta, and I'm the one behind the camera. Originally I studied photography but I always liked to be in front of the camera that’s why my career to date has been as an actor/model. After all these years I’ve learnt a lot by being involved in hundreds of shootings…both good and bad 😜
I’ve learnt about several different roles, including; the stylist, the makeup art
ist, shoot production, camera operator, creative director, editing, the agency side and even chaperone roles. For this new venture, i’ll be taking a pinch of experience from all these roles, to create natural newborn and family photography sessions. Newborn photography captures my heart because it focuses on the real moments in those first few years of becoming a parent. One of my other manor passions is children, and when I was younger I wanted to be a teacher! This way I can combine two of my favourite things, to hopefully capture some amazing memories for families. I can travel to your home for your natural newborn session and capture those early days, or if you prefer you can come to my home studio where we can be a bit more creative and use a selection of backgrounds and fun but classic props. My aim is to make memories for lifetime and have a lovely time connecting with the families and capturing your precious ones. Get in touch and let’s capture the moment!
