At the end of 2020 my dream job came to an end. Over the course of the year, I’d seen almost everyone I had the pleasure working with in the on-trade suffer a similar fate.
Every pub, bar, venue & nightclub in the country is facing up to nearly a year of closure in one form or another. Working in hospitality is a lifestyle, it’s late nights & weekends, it’s early morning deliveries & all-day prep. It’s lock ins & after service pints, it’s being part one big dysfunctional family. It’s a support network that’s disappeared from under the 3 million people that make up the industry. You support those people week in week out, with every beer, coffee & dinner out. Now that’s impossible, I want to create a platform to build awareness, support myself through unemployment & support the industry that’s given me so much. I want to bring the beauty of the places we all miss so much back into our homes, which is why I’ve set up printsofpubs.com
When you purchase a print of one of my photographs, 50% of profits go to hospitality charities - such as hospitality action - to support the people behind the industry get back on their feet.
