The workshop will be led by Naroa Pérez, a Barcelona-born photographer whose journey into the realms of touch, nostalgia, and fear began in 2002. Delving deep into the intricacies of the darkroom, Pérez's artistic focus revolves around the nuanced processes within, embracing elements of mistake, chance, and repetition. Her exploration extends to techniques such as liquid emulsion and color printing, including color transparency E6.
Pérez's work has earned her a place among prestigious collections, including the library of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the rare book collection of Oxford University's Bodleian Library in Weston. In 2017, she proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from the London College of Communication (UAL).
