It’s been ages since I’ve been at a gig. Diocletian was my last. I couldn’t risk being front n centre while I was pregnant as it was bad enough fighting thru this one at 20 odd weeks !!! I’ll hopefully be at Morbid in Jan providing babby allows herself to be babysat for a few hours !!!

not my usual but I thought hey how mad could it be it’s just like emos right. Well. It was busy as f**k, the floor was bouncing and it was harder to shoot than any metal gig I’ve been to. Crowd were also v inconsiderate to anyone *moving* near them to get to the toilets/bar as well which I’d actually forgotten was a thing at gigs. Good show and good energy but bad audience vibes.

smashing up at on the 14th. I didn’t go for the whole weekend - I feel like I can’t deal with that anymore unless it’s camping !! But amazing to see CS playing again and again and getting bigger and better every single time.

I would like to shoot one gig a month at least in 2024. I've been a bit hit and miss this year, with things happening and MOTs failing (lmao that was a fun grand to spend just before christmas). But I gotta get into it. December was my best month and I want to keep it going.

live in London 30/11/23. Got myself a nifty 16-35mm and this was the first gig I had it out. Must say that it’s going to be a solid staple in the bag. I find, being a short, petite and chronically in pain person, that being at the front of shows can be really tough for me, getting battered and pushed about! I usually carry my big lens (70-200mm) for when I’m too tired to stay at the front. However, I might have to push it a bit more with results like this …!
