Personal Faves of 2025.
My love for photography grew. I found a passion of documentary photography and photojournalism that was lingering in me for a while that I finally got the guts to embrace, my first ‘assignment’ was the in April. joined me at the meet up point and followed along nearby. They ever so kindly allowed me to not only document the event but also ride in it, which was really cool to participate, cycling around London is honest the best thing to do.
In May, I attended, and more than 500,000 others attended the Protest to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Nakba, which means catastrophe, in the years between 1947 and 1949, Zionist paramilitary forces ethnically cleansed and eradicated over 500 villages and cities in Palestine, displacing 750,000 Palestinians and taking over 78% of the land. I was joined by , we weaved through protesters and passers by capturing images of the whole thing. The entire protest was peaceful and orderly, there was a sense of solidarity and respect with each other and the justice they were fighting for.
In August, I began a photo project, it initially focused on Eastbourne, but I decided to expand the project and focus on all parts of the UK, I sat down and spoke to a variety of individuals in the Eastbourne area about their lives, experiences and hopes, which can all be read on my website which is linked in my bio. This project is on-going, so expect a lot more very soon!
Unfortunately I missed the Palestine Action Rally in August but managed to attend in September. After being proscribed in July, supporters of Pal Action who wore or held a sign saying “I support Palestine Action” would be arrested by police under the Terrorism Act 2000. These protests tend to become increasingly intense with clashes between protesters and police becoming frequent. This is where I got my first image on a news publication — The Sun — thanks to for that opportunity, and to be clear I am *not* a collaborator of, but a good step forward so far.
Also in September, I took myself into a world I’m familiar with already but do not agree with, Tommy Robinsons, Unite the Kingdom
