You really don’t need that much to make a good image.
For this shot, I used one small LED light, the environment around me and the last bit of daylight.
The location was doing a lot of the work already…the blue sky, the city lights, the stairs, the darkness around the subject. I just needed to figure out how to light the person without losing all of that.
And the edit?
Pretty minimal.

Sometimes the biggest difference isn’t better equipment. It’s making better decisions with what you already have.
