✨Birthday portraits with ✨

Turning a year older deserves to be celebrated. For this shoot, we didn’t just make portraits..we made space. Space to feel seen, celebrated and centred in her own story.

We leaned into warmth, confidence, and timeless simplicity which led us to create something that feels both classic and personal. Here’s to growth and light that never fades🕯️

👑MISS EMPOWER 2025👑

Huge congratulations to on winning her first pageant!

I still remember our last shoot together: she was heading to her first pageant the next day. It happened to be my twin’s and my birthday the day after, and she told us she’d try to win it as a present. She came 3rd, but honestly, I was already so proud of her for stepping up like that.

Fast forward 6 months… she wins Miss Empower with one of the photos we’d taken that day displayed behind her on stage. Unreal. My heart was full.

Of course, I had to message her right away: “We need to do a shoot to celebrate this win!” And here we are.

So proud of you, sis. This is only the beginning. 👑✨

NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL 2025 🇯🇲🇹🇹🇧🇧🇰🇳🇧🇶

This year’s Carnival changed my perspective. It reminded me that the best growth, and the best shots, happen when we step out of our comfort zones.

When approached me about photographing at Notting Hill Carnival, I almost said “no”. The thought of it was very overwhelming; the crush of bodies, the chaos, the noise…

But stepping into the Platinum Soul Sound tent, everything shifted. The chaos I once feared turned into energy, rhythm, and belonging. Through my camera, I found the joy I’d always missed: dancers moving in perfect rhythm with the streets, strangers smiling like old friends, DJ-ing crowned with a hair sculpture piece made using CDs by . It was a thrilling, overwhelming, yet exhilarating sensory journey.

So here’s my takeaway: say yes, even when you’re unsure. Especially then.

When my little sister asked me to shoot her first campaign for , she told me she wanted something clean and minimal—white background, simple styling. But as soon as I heard the name Aurae, all I could think about was light.

There’s something about that word that just evokes softness, glow, energy. So we met in the middle—kept the minimalism she wanted, but played with warmth and light in subtle ways. No bold colors, just warm white tones that let the product (and her vision) shine through.

I love how this came out and I’m so proud of her. Can’t wait to share more from this shoot over the week.
