The Gherkin always feels like the most effortless landmark to photograph. Clean lines, no bad angles, and it somehow looks good in every kind of light. One of those buildings you can’t walk past without taking at least one shot.

New York has a way of getting under my skin in the best possible way. Every time I’m here, it’s like the city switches something on in me. I’ve been twice, yet it still feels like I’ve only seen one percent of what this place holds. Every visit feels too short.

There’s something about this city that wakes me up from the inside, the noise, the pace, the ambition in the air, that feeling of standing in the centre of possibility itself. It’s chaotic, intense, overwhelming… and somehow exactly where I feel most alive.

I can’t explain it. It just feels like home, even when I’m only passing through. My favourite city in the world and I’m nowhere near done with it.

Chinatown never hides its stories. Steam from the kitchens, breaks taken in narrow alleys, colours glowing over the noise. It’s the kind of place where real life happens right in front of you if you’re paying attention.
