I’m delighted to finally announce the dates for my photographic exhibition and book launch, On The Periphery, taking place from 18th–20th September at the Photo Book Cafe, 4 Leonard Circus, London EC2A 4DQ.
This announcement has been a long time coming. Last year, I was forced to cancel the exhibition after encountering significant issues with the printer responsible for producing On The Periphery. The quality of the final book fell well below the standard required and, with great reluctance, I made the difficult decision to postpone the launch.
What followed, however, was an incredible show of support from people who understood what had happened. Through their networks, introductions were made, doors were opened, and opportunities emerged. Their encouragement, generosity, and belief in the project ensured that this exhibition and book launch would eventually become a reality. For that, I will be forever grateful.
The On The Periphery exhibition and accompanying book celebrate a decade of documenting contemporary Mod culture. The work reflects the relationships I’ve built, the trust of the people I’ve photographed, and the close bond I’ve developed with the Mod community over the last ten years. It is a personal photographic journey spent standing on the periphery, looking in.
