We’re excited to invite you to a special Nikon Open Day on Friday, 5th June, featuring street photographer Lucy Hamidzadeh.

Lucy is a highly respected street photographer based in SE London. Rooted in storytelling, Lucy creates emotive, transportive images that capture the soul of London and the destinations she visits.

Throughout the day, guests will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest Nikon equipment, try out selected loan gear, and speak with Nikon specialists about techniques, settings, and technical questions.

Lucy will be leading her workshop, Street Photography: Noticing the Unnoticed, where she’ll share some of the tips and street techniques she has developed over the years, including how to read a scene, anticipate a moment, and capture compelling everyday images.

The session will include:

- An introduction and creative talk from Lucy
- Practical street photography tips and techniques
- A live photo walk around the local area
- Q&A back in-store after the walk

We’ll also be joined by Nikon’s Bruno Murari, who will be hosting an autofocus clinic and will be available throughout the day for product advice, demonstrations, and general conversation.

Whether you’re already shooting Nikon or simply interested in improving your street photography, this promises to be a fantastic day of learning, inspiration, and hands-on experience.
