Staying on the subject of locations for your photoshoot. Most clients arrive without a clear answer as to where we should do it. And that’s OK, they don’t need one.

Where you shoot is a communications decision, not a logistics one. The setting becomes part of what the images say about you. Get that right first and the rest of the shoot gets easier.

If you don’t have a clear idea, don’t worry I have loads of suggestions, no matter what your business is. And I’ve written a full breakdown on my blog, including how to work out what’s right for your brand. The link is in my bio.

Not all colours work on camera. Here’s what I tell every client. 🎨

Swipe for my guide to colours that photograph well, colours to be careful with, and the ones I’d generally avoid for a personal branding shoot.
I do have one specific colour tip that’s guaranteed to make sure you’re wearing a great colour for you, but you’ll have to book a discovery call for that one 🙂
Save this for when you’re planning your shoot outfits.

The question I get asked more than any other before a shoot?
“What on earth do I wear?”
And it’s absolutely the right question to ask. What you wear affects not just how your photos look, but how you feel in front of the camera. And how you feel in front of the camera affects everything.
My starting point for every client: begin with your brand, not your wardrobe. Ask yourself what you want people to feel when they see these images. Then dress for that feeling.
The rest follows.
Full practical guide to what to wear for your personal branding photoshoot now on the blog. Link in bio.
