Now more than ever, stay gold people.💛 These times are bringing out the best and the worst in people, revealing the true character of many - good bad and ugly. Even though we have every legitimate excuse in the book to let the darkness take over, I hope you find a way to lean into the best parts of yourself right now- because how we show up for the people in our lives and the world during the worst of times matters - big time. Shine light wherever you can, be a helper even if it’s in the smallest of ways and you feel you have nothing left to give, and protect the most vulnerable among us just like these golden guardian angels. 👼 ⁣

While all of our adventures are currently on massive pause, I think a virtual escape to Thailand is in order 🧐 So I’m gonna share some of my favorite photos from my two shoots in Bangkok, Krabi, and Chiang Mai from the end of last year in order to keep us dreaming of faraway lands and help us remember a life where magic and love and delicious food existed beyond our quarantine walls- k?? 🥰⁣

I interrupt this current crisis to being you word that the best papaya salad I had in all of Thailand was made on a boat docked on the muddy banks of a river about an hour outside of Bangkok (though I couldn’t feel my mouth after the chilis for a WHILE). 🥵 Thailand is famous for its floating markets where you can buy colorful produce and delicious dishes like “boat noodles”, and even through the heavy rains deprived me of epic sweeping scenes of tons of boats, they were still some of my favorite places to shoot during the whole assignment in Thailand. 🥰(Also- how on point is their mis en place?! 🏆)⁣

One benefit of this new slower solo life away from LA: my book consumption has gone off the damn charts. This weekend I ran out of Netflix shows so I sat back and tore through the entire final genius installment in ‘s epic post-apocalyptic trilogy on my kindle, continued The Personal MBA on Audibles while I cooked and worked out, and this morning I started in on this one from - Live Free or Die (on it Lizz!) in hard copy 🤓.
What are you reading these days? Are you a print book reader, a kindle ju**ie, or audibles addict? I usually only do kindle books when traveling so when I’m at a home base I love grabbing a physical copy and actually turning real pages 📚 🗺
