Harps & Jora’s dance floor felt like a movie scene - so I turned into one!

Honestly, this dance floor was RIDICULOUS. Everyone fully committed, shapes being thrown, people partying like there was absolutely no tomorrow and the energy just did not drop.

Fast, chaotic, sweaty, a little bit unhinged… exactly how a wedding dance floor should be.

So here’s my little mini movie of the madness.

**big up my brother for sending me this remix to use!!

I knew Roshni & Dhaval’s wedding was going to be a good one.

I’d been looking forward to this one for ages. We’d had so much banter in our WhatsApp group in the lead-up, and I absolutely loved how much thought and organisation they’d both put into the day.

And then there was Roshni’s “Bible” — her timeline for the wedding. 😂 Honestly, I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

But you know what? IT WORKED. The whole day at Offley Place ran like an absolute dream.

A beautiful ceremony, loads of emotion, brilliant speeches, and then an absolutely ridiculous dance floor. DJ Kabir doing what DJ Kabir does and keeping everyone on there ALL night. Standard.

But one of my favourite parts of the day was actually the drinks reception.

Roshni & Dhaval spent pretty much the entire hour with their guests.

No disappearing for endless photos. No missing the party happening around them. They were right there in the middle of it - chatting, laughing, drinking, hugging people, taking countless selfies and actually enjoying the wedding they’d spent so long planning.

I say this to my couples all the time: GO TO YOUR DRINKS RECEPTION.

Those little pockets of time with your favourite people are where so much of the good stuff happens. And selfishly, it gives me so much to photograph too.

This is exactly the kind of wedding I bloody love photographing.

The people. The atmosphere. The emotion. The chaos. The dance floor. And two people actually being present and enjoying every second of it.

Roshni & Dhaval… what a day. ❤️

Sonam and Jay… yesterday was a MOVIE!

Actually, scrap that - the last two days have been absolutely incredible.

From the moment I hung out with Sonam & Jay on their pre-wedding shoot, I knew their wedding was going to be special. I just didn’t realise how special.

It had EVERYTHING. The emotion. The energy. The people. And every single little detail was, as Jay would say, aesthetically down to a T.

And then there was the party…

A margarita tower for their entrance!
Syringe shots flying around then more Shots… followed by more shots… followed by even more shots. And a dance floor that was just absolutely EPIC from start to finish.

Honestly, it was one of those weddings where you look around and think, this is why I bloody love what I do.

Sonam & Jay - thank you for letting me be a part of it all.

Photographing weddings like this is exactly what I love doing.

A new home. The same heart.

My work has evolved a lot over the years from when I first started.

From photographing weddings in local temples and halls to celebrations all over the world, every wedding, every couple and every person I’ve met along the way has shaped the way I see and photograph things today.

Over the last few years, I feel like I’ve really found my style.
A little more editorial. A little more cinematic. A little more playful. And being free with it all! But at the heart of it all, still completely obsessed with people, connection and those beautifully imperfect moments that actually mean something.

So this isn’t a rebrand.

The logo is staying. The values are staying. The reason I pick up a camera in the first place is definitely staying.

I just felt my work needed a new home.

A website that feels more like me now. One that gives the photographs room to breathe and better reflects the balance I’m always chasing - beautiful imagery alongside the raw, funny, emotional and completely unscripted stuff.

Because however my photography evolves, the most important thing will always stay the same:

Photographing what it felt like, not just what it looked like.

The new website is live.
Same me. Same values. Same logo.

The photography evolved. The website finally caught up.

Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️

A little personal post to say… hey! It’s been a while since I’ve actually shown my face on the grid! And I’ve had plenty of new followers recently too! So hello to you all!

I’ve just come back from something that’s pretty rare for me, a mid-wedding-season summer holiday! Somehow, the wedding diary gods aligned and gave me a whole week and a bit off with the family during the summer holidays - hopefully it’s the same again next year! Fingers crossed!

We properly switched off, slowed everything down and just enjoyed being together. We swam, explored, ate plenty of ice creams (double scoops for me, obviously), consumed a slightly ridiculous amount of chorizo, swam some more and generally spent our days with very little idea of what time it was.
Basically, exactly what a holiday should be.

I’m back feeling recharged, refreshed and with a slight tan.
Okay… maybe way too tanned!

There’s something about stepping away in the middle of a busy wedding season that makes you appreciate coming back to it even more. Having that little bit of space to reset, to make memories with my own family and remind myself why photographs mean so much to me in the first place.

Because really, this is the stuff I’m always talking about.
Time with the people you love. The fun moments. The ordinary moments. The little things that don’t necessarily feel important while they’re happening, but somehow end up becoming the memories you treasure the most.

It’s exactly what I’m looking for when I photograph weddings, and exactly what I want to remember from my own life too.

Anyway, batteries recharged, tan slightly questionable… and I’m bloody excited to get back to it.

The second half of wedding season starts next weekend! 📸

**First image taken by Amelia - she found the light and the backdrop - proud dad moment! And yes it’s at home cos the only photos I’m generally in are selfies!

Some weddings honestly just have everything. And Akhil & Shivali’s day at Kew Gardens was one of those.

It started with an emotional first look, the kind that instantly reminds you what weddings are really about. Then came one of the most energetic jaan entrances I’ve seen in a long time, followed by a ceremony that somehow managed to be full of joy, laughter and tears all at once.

The drinks reception was vibey, the speeches had everyone switching between laughing and crying within seconds, and the dance floor… well, let’s just say nobody was holding back.

And then there’s Kew Gardens. What a place. Everywhere you turn there’s another incredible backdrop, but somehow it never steals the attention. It simply lets the people, the moments and the emotion shine.

Thank you, Akhil & Shivali, for trusting me to tell your story. What a privilege it was to be there from the first look to the very last dance. ❤️
