On a cold, gloomy, rainy day isn’t it lovely to see such a warm, smiley face! Unless it’s an actor’s headshot that requires more of a neutral look I ALWAYS recommend breaking into even the slightest of smiles. Not only does your prospective client warm to you a hundred-fold but it does WONDERS for your bone structure! I hate smiling for the camera as much as the next person (defo NEVER show my teeth!) but even I recognise the importance of raising those cheekbones!

Hello again all you lovely fb chums! I haven’t posted an actual post on here since around 1980 so thought it was about time! I’ve still been here just spending the time over on Stories so haven’t disappeared entirely!

Anyway, I’m not great at practising what I preach to you all about getting your lovely faces out there for all to see and for your prospective clients to connect with - so thought I’d better actually do as I say!

Here I am with my trusty Canon ready to shoot you all, either in my cosy home studio or at your own locations. I know, I know - you can’t think of anything worse to do with your time than to place yourself in front of a camera (completely agree with you! 🙈) but I promise it’ll be painless and dare I say it - even quite fun..? 😱

I haven’t had a client yet who hasn’t walked through my door telling me it’s their idea of hell so clearly we all feel the same way (when they walk out of that door they feel entirely differently of course 😉)

In the meantime what do you hate most about the whole thing?

So if you’ve been over on my Stories and seen me communing with the Hampshire countryside and frolicking with the sheep you may be under the illusion that I haven’t been hard at work 😱 That’s all entirely understandable and I really won’t hold that against you - easily done. No the truth of the matter is that, even whilst performing a fabulous down dog surrounded by cows I’m still hard at work editing all your lovely mugs. I’m a multi-tasker after all.

So here to prove my commitment is a pic of one of the many employees I snapped at Canary Wharf before legging it out of town.

Hello again folks! I haven’t posted on here for blimmin yonks. I’ve been busy over on Stories but for some reason haven’t felt seen much when I shout from over here on this “Post” wotnot so haven’t really bothered. Am I right? Do you all still look at this or are we all too busy swiping through that row at the top?

I’d love to know 🤔 Any comments below (just one letter would do it!) would help to solve this for me 🙏

It was a privilege to shoot the rather marvellous Louis Charalambous for The Times Newspaper last week. I do have some splendidly clever clients I must say.

If you're not clever though don't despair - you can still come to me and I won't hold it against you. (Though actually, just coming to me for some headshots is clever of you so I guess all my clients are!)
