It’s World Mental Health Week, and I would love to share this image that I took last year in collaboration with . Body and Soul is a fantastic organisation that supports people most at risk of su***de, and together we created portraits of members of the community. Please check out the Body and Soul website for more (link in bio).
This is how we used creativity to bring people together and inspire action in a positive, uplifting way. Read below for more information on the images we created. Rach xx
This campaign represents the spirit of Body and Soul and its community, close-up, powerful, soulful portraits that symbolise resilience and the idea that, through art, we can find connection and the chance to see life differently, and to see ourselves differently.
Every portrait was shaped by the person in front of my lens — their loves, their fears, their hopes, and the connection we shared throughout the process.
For me, art has always been about connection. It allows us to stop, to feel something, to learn about each other, and sometimes to find joy in unexpected places. This work is a message of hope to anyone struggling: you are not alone.
