We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate candidate to work directly with Oleg Tolstoy the director/ lead photographer of an exciting new boutique event and corporate photography agency.
Oleg Tolstoy is a multi-award-winning photographer known of his social documentary work who over the past 14 years has built solid working relationships with someone of London's top company's and brands delivering dynamic clean-cut imagery for the corporate and events industry. Recently this has expanded from a one-man-band into a team of photographers which Oleg oversees and creatively directs. The aim of the company is to deliver the best in event and corporate photography. We are looking for someone passionate about delivering the best customer service possible with the intention of wanting to grow in the company as it expands.
The role is to work side by side with Oleg to managing bookings, liaising with clients, and managing the online and social presence. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and productive with strong attention to detail and with good communication, writing ability, client liaison skills and phone skills. The candidate should be proactive in being able to think on the spot with booking enquiries as well as developing new processes or improving existing processes with a strong ability to work by themselves.
Administration:
Daily running of the photographer’s bookings
Invoicing
Diary keeping
Client relations and liaison (account management)
Personal assistant to lead photographer and MD (Assisting with personal admin)
Dealing with client & customer enquiries on email and telephone
Updating customer details on internal databases
Dealing with all the associated administration
Business development outreach work
Online marketing:
Keeping our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts updated daily
Writing blog posts and new text for our website’s
Following up with clients on ratings and reviews
Working knowledge of the below software will be beneficial:
LinkedIn (would be very beneficial)
Excel
Gmail
Word
QuickBooks
Squarespace (not essential)
Other skills required:
Strong writing skills
Organisational skills with good time management and the ability to multi-task
Communication skills - a polite and professional manner
An interest in photography or video with an eye to know if a photograph is good or bad quality (not completely necessary but willing to learn will do).
At least 1 year’s experience in an administrator role.

The studio is located next to a screenprinting studio which you will have free access to use in your spare time. It also hosts working brunches once a month, a good time to get to know other people in the studio and network.
The studio is made up of 30 freelancers all with desk spaces in a factory-style building, great atmosphere to work in.
Holiday:
We offer 28 days holiday paid (8 of which are bank holiday). The remaining should be used 5 days per quarter unless agreed in advance. This starts after your first 3 months of employment.
