The Arc de Triomf in Barcelona was built in 1888 as the grand entrance to the city’s Universal Exhibition. Interestingly, unlike most triumphal arches, it was not built to celebrate a military victory, but to celebrate peace, progress, and Barcelona’s openness to the world.

Sri Lankan buses are cheap, loud, crowded, and sometimes a little too “fragrant”! 😂 If you’re used to luxury and personal space, this might feel more like an adventure than a journey. People say it’s one of the best ways to experience real Sri Lankan life… but one adventure I didn’t dare to try! 🚌🇱🇰

There are moments in life that simply cannot be described with ordinary words… 🤎

Sri Lanka gave me one of those moments — elephants standing right beside the road, so close that, for a little while, it felt as though they were allowing me a glimpse into their extraordinary world. 🐘✨

Their presence will forever remain in my heart as one of the most beautiful moments of this holiday 🫶🏻
