Even though each is a one-off, all Bespoke & Bound albums share quality, durability and character, where form unites seamlessly with function. They are tactile, luxurious and a pleasure to use, combining the timeless quality of exquisite
materials with a contemporary design ethos. We make your album according
to your exact needs and specifications - it's entirely up to you. Naturally, we are
here to guide you with your design and choice of materials, so you get the most fitting edition. What you can expect:
Design & production
We lay out your images according to your brief, making sure they flow seamlessly and look good together. We favour simple, clean, contemporary design that
is unfussy, so your images really speak for themselves. Professional retouching
is also part of the Bespoke & Bound service. Again, this is tailored to your needs. Materials
Bespoke & Bound albums use the finest quality tanned Italian bridle leathers and suedes, handpicked by us. They outlast most leathers, improving with age as natural scuffs and marks enhance their character. Full of natural conditioning oils, they can be tanned in a multitude of subtle and vibrant colours. The traditional screw post fixing is made from solid brass, which not only means
it's durable, but you can also add to your album. We use suede to house the screw post, and can make your album with matching
or contrasting spine and cover hues. Your Bespoke & Bound album can be personalised with blind embossed names, dates, events or family crests - it's your choice. We like to use 300 gsm paper by Fedrigoni, with its characteristic weight and inimitable feel. We can source other papers, depending on your needs. Pages
are punched and folded by hand before being added to your album. Your album is typically ready for delivery in six to eight weeks, though we operate a rush service if you need it. To store and protect it, each completed edition comes
in its own handmade, embossed Bespoke & Bound box. Simplified Production Process
