" Natural Light vs Man-made Light " - Akranes, Iceland

Sunday night in Iceland, the weather on the south coast was forecast to be horrendously windy and with a temp of minus 6 already, windchill would have been minus 15 at 25m/s wind, turned around near Selfoss and drove back to Akranes, a tiny fishing town north west of Reykjavik and no wind, clear skies and an awesome hour long display of Aurora.

“ Firefall “ - Yosemite National Park and Horsetail waterfall.

Such an amazing location and such a hard project to plan for. There firstly has to be enough snow on the top of El-Capitan to melt, to cause a water run off, the weather has to be warm enough to melt the ice and the nights hopefully shouldn’t be too cold and lastly, the horizon has to be clear to allow the suns fading rays to hit the waterfall at the right angle at sunset.
