Thank you for sharing C&B’s lovely wedding in Puglia!

This dreamy 3-day wedding celebration in Puglia captured everything we love about an Italian summer, with a full and vibrant experience from start to finish. Our bride Clara chose a timeless palette of white, blue, and yellow, inspired by the sun-soaked tones of southern Italy.

Over three days, the celebration moved from a traditional ceremony into an unforgettable pool party, with a strong sense of energy, joy, and constant celebration throughout.

I’m starting the story with a few favourite film images from across the weekend, and there’s so much more to come. Sharing this beautiful destination wedding little by little.

Katie Julia’s bridal fashion. The two remarkable dresses that took the main stage on the wedding day.

For the wonderful main wedding dress, says…
“Created with British designer Sally Bean, this bespoke couture piece is the result of 300 hours of handwork, vintage lace, and silk tulle inspired by the very materials Dior himself once used. The most poignant detail? A garden rose, cut from Edwardian French lace, was placed over the center of the bodice. The front is light and romantic. The back carries volume and weight, a quiet metaphor for everything we carry and the strength it takes to move forward.”

Later the day changed into a stunning vintage …
“Our venue was filled with white roses and it kept bringing me back to Dior. The house and the rose have always been intertwined.
And the rose has long been part of my own story, a symbol of delicacy and resilience, standing its ground with both.
Christian Dior’s garden was his sanctuary.
To wear Dior, surrounded by roses, on the day I married my husband ... that was never lost on me. But Dior also holds a far more personal meaning for me.” Says Katie herself.

Thrilled to share that you can now find my work on .

Over a decade, I’ve been quietly refining my place within the wedding industry, shaping a style that feels entirely my own. Being recognised by The LANE, a platform defined by artistry, intentional design and a distinct perspective on modern weddings, feels both affirming and deeply special.

Grateful to for the invitation, and to my clients and industry peers whose trust and collaboration continue to shape my work in the most meaningful way.

For couples drawn to imagery that feels composed yet deeply organic, where elegance exists alongside honest, fleeting moments, I would love to connect.

I love photographing florals details, every stem in this outdoor reception floral set up at Beas River Country Club is placed with intention, quietly composed to come alive beneath the dreamy fasting lights.

Floristry is never accidental. It is a language of placement, balance and restraint. I have watched florists work with such care, turning each stem until it sits exactly where it is meant to be, creating something that feels effortless only because it has been so deliberately considered.

This is why I always ask for 10-15 minutes before guests enter the space. It is a brief moment of stillness, when everything is untouched and glowing softly under the first layer of light.

My approach to photographing and editing these scenes is equally intentional. I lean into authenticity, preserving the true tones and textures as they were chosen, so the design can be felt as it was envisioned. Because when florals are curated for an outdoor reception under festoon lights, every colour, every stem, every shadow is part of the story.

As a wedding photographer, I always say that party is the part of the day I look forward to most. The structure of the day gives way to something more instinctive, more emotional, and far more alive. The light changes, the movement becomes unpredictable, and every frame feels honest.

Incredible energy throughout the night from , delivering exactly the kind of atmosphere that fills a room and keeps it moving 🔥
The beautifully refined Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire became the most extraordinary setting for a celebration, transformed so effortlessly into a vibrant, high-energy dance floor by , and Matthew Oliver Weddings team!

I always find myself moving with my couples and their guests in these moments, capturing every frame within the energy rather than around it.

I’ve also been thinking about adding an even smaller camera specifically for dance floor coverage, something even more discreet for these fast, fluid moments. If any fellow photographers have suggestions, let me know in the comment I’d love recommendations!
