It's been a while!

Sorry I've not posted anything for a while - alongside photography, I work full time in a customer services job, and that takes the majority of my time, and I haven't been to any events in a while, but yesterday, it was Capital FM's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard at Wembley Stadium connected by EE, and of course, I couldn't go to the Ball and not come away with some photos to share!

Photos from the have been uploaded to my new SmugMug page - https://edwardsphotographyuk.smugmug.com/Capital-STB-2025

You can download the watermarked photos from my SmugMug page, however if you wish to purchase any photos on my page, please email [email protected]. You can tag this page, on Facebook, or you can tag on X/Twitter, or on Instagram.

Enjoy! 🎉 🪩

If anyone in the East or West Midlands needs any handyman jobs or DIY doing, please reach out to Handyman Matt The Midlands! 🔨 🪚

Matt is able to do any job, at a competitive price. I’ve known Matt (and his partner, Gem radio breakfast presenter Jo) for a while, and I can guarantee that Matt will do an amazing job, and you’ll be impressed with the result.

If you’ve got any jobs that need doing, please reach out to Handyman Matt The Midlands. I can’t promise that there won’t be any silly jokes, and train chat, though! 👀

Devastated to hear that Her Majesty The Queen has passed away at the age of 96. My thoughts and condolences are with Her family, and with King Charles III, at this extremely difficult time.

May She forever rest in peace.

Thank you, Ma’am, and God Save The King ❤️ 👑

I’ve got some incredibly exciting news to share on this Sunny Bank Holiday Friday.

I have been lucky enough to have been invited to take some photographs of Mahogany Carnival Arts at the Pageant, that’s taking place, in London, on Sunday.

It’s an honour to have been invited to take photographs at such a special occasion, marking an impressive 70 years of our Queen’s reign! I can’t put into words how surreal it it to have been invited to such a momentous event, around The Mall and the streets surrounding Buckingham Palace!

I'll be lurking in and amongst the crowd, capturing lots of great photographs of such an incredible day, and event, that I'm excited to be able to share with you, soon!

Thanks to the wonderful Alison Denholm & the Mahogany Carnival Arts team for inviting me down for the event. 👑

Went to a fantastic gig, last night, at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road, with a friend, and got some nice pictures.

It was great to listen to Buds., Carpark and Don't Worry, as well as to spend some quality time with one of my closest friends, that I've not seen for 8 months!

It was a wonderful night, and the music was brilliant - even if I am now struggling to hear anything from my right ear, as we were stood WAYYYY too close to the speaker!

I need to apologise…

I’m sorry that I’ve not yet posted on 2022!

I’ve been so busy with my move from Nottingham to London, starting my new job, and being in lots of TV audiences, alongside the remains of the COVID pandemic, I’ve had a lot of things to cram into a short amount of time!

Make sure to keep your eyes on my Instagram page - as I tend to update that page more than my page, after taking photos. There have definitely been a few posts in 2022 - I promise!

I’ll try to keep this page updated more frequently, along with my website, and Twitter, but as a photographer, Instagram is the main place that I will be sharing updates - especially for the time being, while I still get everything sorted here in London.

Having a full time job has meant that my photography has had to take a back seat, but I could never give up on my love of photography, and I promise that there will be lots of updates soon… although I can’t quite say how ‘soon’ that will be, at the moment.

Thank you to everyone for sticking around, and for understanding. Don’t forget to check out my Instagram page for some updates, though! 📸

This is one of my favourite photos from the first day of my holiday in London. What an amazing view, while I was sat eating my lunch, earlier, looking over at Television Centre, London, which is the home of many shows, including Saturday Night Takeaway, and ITV Daytime programmes, including This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Loose Women! 📺

I rarely take a photo and think ‘that’s perfect’, but when I took this photo, I fell in love with it instantly. I took it on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the quality is just fantastic. I’m ever so proud of this photo.

On Sunday, 27th June, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Nottingham Puppet Festival, in collaboration with City Arts - Nottingham, Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall, and Nottingham Trent University.

Each act was incredibly interesting to watch, and the day. was thoroughly entertaining. The weather remained lovely for the duration of the day, with the sun shining across the whole event, too, which was lovely to see.

With the past 18 months being quite a difficult time for the performing arts sector, as well as for many others, it was lovely to be able to see some of the sector's puppeteers out and about, performing for the general public.

Don't forget to take a look at our website, soon, for a post about the event, including information about each of the acts.
