The final chapter of the day, back at the villa.
As the light softened over the lake, the garden filled with music, champagne and wonderful people.

There were big moments like the first dance, cake cut, and bouquet toss. However some of the less expected ones were just as important… Guests spilling over into the lake, Kate & Matteo going up to see his grandma by the window, and sharing a reflective moment under the floral arch where their ceremony had taken place.

It was the kind of night that made it difficult to know when to put the cameras away!

The villa, its garden and that stretch of private waterfront also made for some of my favourite drone photographs of the day.

After the ceremony, we cruised across Lake Como, past some of the lake’s most iconic villas, including Villa Balbiano and Villa Cassinella, before returning to the place where it all began...

Between Matteo’s family villa and the lake’s only island, a champagne bottle was popped, glasses were raised, and the celebrations properly got underway.

For me, this part of the day was a dream to photograph. The scale of the lake, the mountains surrounding it, the villas scattered along the shoreline, and the chance to capture it all from above as well as from the water. Believe it or not, while each frame looks meticulously curated, this was actually almost entirely candid! Kate & Matteo are absolute naturals 👌🏽

Back on shore, everyone gathered beside the lake for dinner. Beautifully prepared food, a welcome breeze drifting across the water, plenty of sunshine, and the kind of speeches that seem to alternate perfectly between laughter and tears.

Exceptional company, food, coffee, and wine. What more could you want?

A beautiful family villa on the shores of Lake Como, looking directly across to the lake’s only island.

Their closest friends and family gathered among the stunning garden for a wedding that felt every bit as special as the setting itself.

These first photographs follow the opening chapter of the day.
Quiet moments in the villa, final preparations at the windows overlooking the water, guests arriving beneath the trees, and a ceremony framed by mountains in every direction.

And for the first time, a few drone photographs woven into the story too - and what an incredible spot for my piloting debut 🤞🏽

A beautiful family villa on the shores of Lake Como, looking directly across to the lake’s only island.

Anisha & Anish at Gunnersbury Park 🤍 (2 of 2)

One long table stretched before the architectural arch. Festoon lights beginning to glow above as the sky softened into that late-evening purple hue. Two hundred people shoulder to shoulder, laughing, talking over one another, and fully present in the moment. It felt less like a formal reception and more like a scene out of a movie.

Speeches unfolded as the light shifted. Real stories which brought a mix of jokes, tears, and applause. Two hundred people, entirely captivated and listening intently.

Then the cake cut slipped straight into the dances. Father and daughter, mother and son. When Anisha and Anish finally took the floor together, the energy of the room lifted with them. Their wedding party literally raised them onto their shoulders.

What stayed with me most was how natural it all felt. No performance, no pressure. From that long table to the first dance, the evening unfolded exactly as their day had started: warm, lively, and entirely them.

Anisha & Anish at Gunnersbury Park 🤍 (1 of 2)

This morning was exactly their vibe. With huge bridal and groom parties, loads of noise, laughter, people drifting in and out of rooms. Nothing felt staged. Just everyone they love in one place.

I love working in spaces like Gunnersbury Park because there is so much to work with. The soft light through the glass, the checkerboard floor, the clean lines and the florals framing everything. It lets me create images that feel calm and elegant while the energy of the day carries on all around. That balance is where the best photographs live.

We took a few minutes for a beautiful bridal portraits in the morning, with the light wrapping softly around Anisha and the florals behind her. One of those quiet moments that feels timeless and still, even with everything happening just outside the frame.

Anish had his groomsmen around him, joking, straightening jackets, keeping things light before the ceremony. Then everyone moved into the Orangery and the whole space settled. Same people, same warmth, just more focused. You could feel how close everyone in that room was. This is the kind of morning I love photographing.

From a ceremony that felt intimate even in a full room, holding everyone in its own stillness, straight into confetti against the stunning Orangery backdrop…

We got the family photos done smoothly so everyone could head straight into cocktail hour, then brought together the full bridal and groom parties for some big group shots. A lot of laughter, a lot of energy, and more than a few glasses of Blue Label floating around while it all unfolded.

Anisha & Anish’s Hindu ceremony 🤍

They transformed their family garden into a full-scale Hindu ceremony with a huge white marquee, soft drapes, and the kind of light that makes every moment feel calm, ethereal, and intimate all at once. The way the daylight filtered through the fabric gave everything this gentle glow, like the whole day was wrapped in its own little world.

Real moments, quiet emotions, laughter between rituals, parents watching from the edges, and so many little interactions that made a wonderfully emotive gallery.
