Daddy Pig will be running in the London Marathon for the National Deaf Children’s Society this weekend! The whole storyline has been a joyous collaboration between so many people and we’re hoping that Daddy Pig raises so much money for charity! We made a 3 episode Marathon special that kicked everything off, which you can watch right now on Channel 5 online (Season 9, episodes 24-26). James Butler’s layout department and Rob Cureton’s animation team absolutely smashed these episodes with a mountain of characters to track and animate!! They are some of our funniest episodes of Karrot’s run, written by Tim O’Sullivan and directed by Andrea Tran, so we hope you can discover them this weekend whilst cheering Daddy Pig on!

Today’s Peppa features a wonderful farce as Grandpa Pig drops an anchor on his foot and needs to have a stay in hospital - It’s another two part episode, and they are some of Phil Hall’s finest scripts! We were so lucky to get David Graham to record this from his home before his passing, and he delivers the humour perfectly. By making a new episode set at the hospital, it gave Shelley Revill and her art team a chance to update the hospital designs, which proved invaluable when we all committed to the new arrival in the Pig Family - we already had a very exciting-looking expanded hospital design to stage everything at. Stream the episode on Five now, and watch out for part two at 7:40am on tomorrow!

Another Peppa milestone happens today, as Peppa and George bond over George’s ‘Favourite Sound’ in a new episode at 7:40am on then streaming on . It follows on from yesterdays’s episode and shows George wearing his new hearing aid out in the world for the first time. We think you’ll love the emotional moment at the end, beautifully written by Tim O’Sullivan and directed perfectly by Andrea Tran. Everyone involved in this storyline at Karrot brought their best to the screen and we’ll forever be proud of it!

Today is the big day for George, as he gets his hearing aid, as new Karrot episodes of Peppa Pig begin on Milkshake! Tune into ‘Hearing Test’ at 7:40am or watch afterwards on 5’s streaming service! The Audiologist is played by and we were delighted when she said yes to being in the show - she did a wonderful job of guiding George through a big day for him, and working with the National Deaf Children’s Society and Camilla Arnold to ensure we got the story right was a big honour. We conceived the storyline at Karrot with Tim O’Sullivan writing and pitching the story, directed beautifully by Andrea Tran! We hope you enjoy this special story and all the new episodes on every weekday!
