In the heart of London, where timeless architecture meets modern charm, two souls came together to celebrate the beginning of forever. This engagement shoot was more than just a photography session—it was a visual love letter.

Wearing graceful qipaos and tailored suits, the couple wandered hand-in-hand through the cobbled streets of Notting Hill, beneath the blossom-filled arches of Kew Gardens, and along the golden banks of the Thames. Every glance, every touch, was filled with quiet joy and shared promises.

Jess and Ian used to live in London, where I first got to know them. So when they invited me to travel across the Atlantic to photograph their wedding in Toronto’s cottage country, I was beyond excited. Not only was it an incredible opportunity to reconnect, but also to witness and document their next chapter in such a breathtaking setting.

Nestled along the shores of Peninsula Lake, Deerhurst Resort was the perfect backdrop for their celebration. The day was filled with joyful emotion, heartfelt vows, and laughter that echoed across the lake. Surrounded by nature and their closest friends and family, Ian and Jess made it official under open skies and warm sunshine—an intimate, relaxed, and beautifully personal ceremony.
