Most people only see Amsterdam as one of the few places in the world where prostitution and smoking pot are legal. However, the capital of The Netherlands is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with beautiful canals, stunning architecture and a very rich tradition. Did you know that there are more bicycles in Amsterdam than cars? I didn't until recently when and l travelled to the beautiful city. Cycling is the typical Dutch way locals get around the city. So as a tourist riding a bike is an essential Amsterdam experience.
