Expecting your first baby, and have newborn session questions?

I am here to help!

If you've never had a newborn session before it's understandable that you may not know how they work, it's not just a case of rocking up to the studio, baby is instantly posed, and half an hour later you're on your way.

Sessions actually begin before you even walk through the door, with prep info, styling advice for your clothing and input from you so I can plan your shoot.

You'll spend a minimum of 2 hours with me, because your baby runs the show. Yes, I'm the one posing baby and taking photos, but I will work at your baby's pace.

Your little one may need extra settling time, top up feeds, a chance to have a cuddle or a curious look around the studio and all that is factored into your studio time.

Never rushed, always calm. It's not just a photoshoot, it's an experience.

Having a baby brings a to-do list longer than your arm.

I mean, firstly there is everything you need as an expectant mama, but then that never ending list of things needed for your baby too.

That's why I advise getting one thing ticked off early - booking your newborn session.

I can secure a slot for you any time from your first scan, and that means your slot is guaranteed.

We then arrange your actual session date when little one is here, to allow for early or late arrivals.

Maternity sessions don’t have to feel awkward.

You don’t need to know how to pose, you don’t need to feel confident in front of a camera, and you definitely don’t need to have everything perfectly together.

Most mums arrive feeling a little nervous, and that’s fine.

The session is gently guided from start to finish, so you’ll know exactly what to do with your hands, where to look, how to stand, and how to feel comfortable.

It’s not about pretending pregnancy is easy every second of the day. it's about celebrating your bump.
