Had a gorgeous evening working with Royal Over-Seas League and the Gold Medal Final of the 71st Annual Music Competition Awards.
The top prize was awarded to Belgian clarinettist Emile Souvagie joined by pianist Alexander Declercq. The other incredible finalists were Gerard Flotats, Bocheng Wang and Annabel Kennedy. And this all took place in the fab Wigmore Hall

It was an amazing experience launching the Q***r Religion exhibition this weekend. The response was really lovely and I want to thank everyone who came to see it and listen to the talk I presented.

I’m just back from shooting the incomparable West Wicklow Festival. Words cannot describe how brilliant this five day event was, reaching four different beautifully contrasting venues such as Russborough House and Park, National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland, Tramway Theatre Blessington and St Mary’s Church, Blessington.

The artist list included actor Evanna Lynch with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, Jess Gillam and her magical ensemble, Patrick Rafter - Violinist, Navarra Quartet, Amy Gillen, Frasier Hickland - Pianist and the wonderful Apollo5 . Also featured were new commissions and premiers composed by Jane O’Leary, Conor Linehan, Michael McGlynn and an interview with Donnchadh Mac Aodha by Evonne Ferguson from The Contemporary Music Centre

All of this was masterfully brought together by the genius mind of artistic director Fiachra Garvey and the fabulous festival Manager Muireann Sheahan.

Thanks to SOFFT Productions for the amazing lighting design throughout!

I absolutely love this annual concert showcasing the up and coming stars and talent in Ireland. The Feis Ceoil gives such incredible exposure and financial support to artists and is run so well by a great team ♥️

Just back from the most incredible In Dulci Jubilo tour of 7 cathedrals in 7 days with the Gabrieli Consort & Players Roar project. We visited York Minster Coventry Cathedral Peterborough Cathedral Portsmouth Cathedral Ely Cathedral Hull Minster and Canterbury Cathedral worked with thousands of children in over 100 schools. Starring Elizabeth Llewellyn, Soprano, Simon Lepper - Pianist Tai Murray Silke Avenhaus, Paul Greenan and Roisin Verity Walters. A massive shoutout to the brilliant festival manager Muireann Sheahan.
