My beautiful, black, talented artist, intelligent, funny, cool, sensitive, conscientious, kind, daughter deserves to grow up in a world where she is appreciated for her brilliance and not in a world where she is treated unfairly because of the colour of the skin God blessed her with. She deserves to not be held back by people who are deluded enough to think they are superior to her just because they have a different colour skin. So here’s hoping that we will all come together and strive to be anti-racist. Here’s hoping that we will all be brave enough to speak up against injustice when we see it because silence is complicity.

A year ago, these lovebirds got in touch about photography for their spring wedding. My advise to them was to consider an engagement session which they agreed to. Engagement sessions are a must in my opinion as it helps us get to know each other a little better to help us both feel relaxed before the big day. And in my opinion, anything that helps get rid of that “I’m getting photographed by a complete stranger” awkwardness on your wedding day is always a great idea. 👩‍❤️‍👨💍 @ South Bank London
