🏇🇭🇰 TEAM HONG KONG — 香港隊歷史性首戰 SHERGAR CUP

2026年8月8日 Ascot Racecourse

由隊長 何澤堯 Vincent Ho，聯同 周俊樂 Jerry Chau 及 霍宏聲 Luke Ferraris 組成香港隊，穿上香港隊戰衣，代表香港登上 Ascot 呢個國際賽馬舞台。🏇🇭🇰

對我嚟講，今次亦係一個特別嘅「第一次」——

📸 第一次以攝影師身份參與 Shergar Cup Race Day，為 Vincent、Jerry 同 Luke 捕捉佢哋喺 Ascot 嘅珍貴時刻。

由之前 Media Day 為三位騎師拍攝，到 Race Day 真正見到佢哋穿上香港隊戰衣、步入馬場、策騎上陣；當我企喺賽道旁邊，透過觀景器見到 🇭🇰 HONG KONG 出現喺 Ascot，嗰種感覺真係好特別。

尤其 周俊樂 Jerry Chau 同 霍宏聲 Luke Ferraris 今次更加係首次喺英國上陣及勝出頭馬，令呢一日更值得紀念。

作為一個香港人，亦係一個喺英國工作嘅攝影師，能夠親身喺 Ascot，用自己最熟悉嘅方式——攝影——記錄香港隊歷史性第一次出戰 Shergar Cup，真係一個非常難得嘅機會。❤️

【🎓 A meaningful graduation session in the heart of London 】

This graduation shoot was a little different from the usual ceremony photos.

Originally, my client graduated at the Barbican Centre, London, but she chose to celebrate this special milestone with her family, relatives, schoolmates, and friends at the beautiful St Paul’s Cathedral instead. I truly loved this idea, because graduation is not only about receiving a certificate, but also about sharing the achievement with the people who have supported you along the way. ❤️

The shoot took place during the third heat wave in the UK this year. The temperature reached 35°C, and it felt close to 40°C under the sun. We were all searching for shade, and thankfully we found a lovely shaded area beside St Paul’s Cathedral which became our little base camp throughout the session.

It turned out to be the perfect spot, especially because we had a very distinguished senior family member with us — my client’s grandmother. Keeping everyone comfortable and making sure the elderly family members could enjoy the day was just as important as capturing beautiful photographs.

Despite the extreme heat, the session was filled with smiles, laughter, hugs, and many precious family moments. These are the photographs that will become memories for generations, and I’m grateful to have been trusted to document such a meaningful day.

更加重要嘅係，一個 Pose 可以自然延伸成第二、第三、第四個動作，甚至激發更多創意，令成輯相更加豐富、有故事感。

對攝影師嚟講，Pose Reference 亦係一個超實用嘅提醒，方便更快俾到清晰指示，令拍攝流程更順暢、互動更多，唔會浪費時間諗下一個動作。

拍攝節奏快咗，客人更放鬆，最後出嚟嘅相，自然更靚、更有質感。✨

🏆 FIRST PLACE again in Engagement Category 🥇

I'm incredibly honoured that my image "In Our Own Little Corner" has been awarded 1st Place in the Engagement (Non-Wedding Gowns) category at the Asiawpa International Photography & Videography Competition – First Half 2026.

This is one of my favourite images because it combines architectural geometry, negative space and storytelling to create a quiet, intimate moment for the couple. Sometimes, the simplest moments speak the loudest.

What makes this award even more special is that the photograph was taken during my one-week trip back to Hong Kong this March. It was an incredibly tight schedule, balancing both Qipao portrait sessions and pre-wedding shoots. Despite the packed itinerary, we managed to create this image—proof that meaningful work can happen even when time is limited.

The judges commented:
"Exceptional architectural framing. A stronger streak of sunlight striking the couple would have elevated the dramatic impact."

I'm grateful for the constructive feedback and, above all, thankful to every couple who trusts me to document such an important chapter of their lives.

A huge thank you to my clients, friends, and everyone who has supported my journey. Every award is not only a recognition but also a reminder to keep learning, pushing my creativity further, and telling meaningful stories through my lens.
