The Fremont Street Experience (FSE) is a pedestrian mall and attraction in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The FSE occupies the westernmost five blocks of Fremont Street, including the area known for years as "Glitter Gulch," and portions of some other adjacent streets.

The central attraction is a barrel vault canopy, 27 m) high at the peak and four blocks, or approximately 460 m in length.
The LED display "canopy," runs along the Fremont Street Experience promenade from Main Street to Fourth Street. Holding the canopy aloft are 16 columns, each weighing 26,000 pounds and can hold up 400,000 pounds, and 43,000 struts.

A section comprising one fiftieth of the total canopy equals the size of the world’s current largest electric sign. Originally, nearly 2.1 million incandescent lights were housed in the canopy. With the completion of the $17 million upgrade, more than 12 million LED lamps illuminate the overhead canopy. The new LED upgrade was designed and engineered by LG Electronics, who is also the primary corporate sponsor of the canopy. Within the canopy itself are 220 speakers powered by 550,000 watts of amplification.

By the end of 1932 Sir Malcolm Campbell had won prestigious Grand Prix races, broken the land speed world record not once but six times, and had been knighted by King George V.

He was the fastest man on land but wanted to take a crack at the 300mph barrier, the automotive equivalent of the four-minute mile. He believed that the only engine that could power his Blue Bird to this speed was a 36.5L Rolls-Royce R aero engine.
On 22 February 1933, Blue Bird's first run with the Rolls-Royce engine set a new world land speed record of 272 miles per hour (438 km/h) at Daytona Beach, Florida.

A month later, Campbell celebrated by taking personal delivery of a new Phantom II Continental, registration AGO 1, in pale blue with bespoke modifications included a wireless set, fire extinguisher, spotlight, an exhaust pipe nine-inches longer than the norm (probably to create an exhaust note closer to the Blue Bird's roar), a klaxon horn, a Bosch horn and a siren. Its bodywork was by Barker coachbuilders.

Campbell’s Phantom II was finished in pale blue on the outside, with a dark blue interior finish. The shiny, pearlescent finish comes (reportedly) from ground herring scales integrated into the paint.

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII, a worthy successor to the Goodwood Phantom (Phantom VII) and to the Phantoms I – VI, manufactured in Derby and Crewe. 92 years of this incredible line of Rolls-Royce motor cars. Phantom VIII changes everything and takes bespoke to an entirely new level. Its aluminium spaceframe body now has its waistline high point above the front wheel arch as opposed to the traditional location just above the front doors. Its dual coach line and opposing waft line elegantly make the Phantom VIII appear ready to glide into action at the press of the ignition button, its V12 engine affording its passengers a magic carpet-like ride. The Phantom’s sweeping rear line, integral with the bonnet and roof line, sweeps back to accentuate this readiness to glide into motion. The introduction of the glass screen on the dashboard creates what is now referred to as “The Gallery” – a space in which Phantom’s owners can create their own personal aesthetic. One customer has already enquired about having his Faberge egg collection housed in this dashboard Gallery, whereas another has commissioned a gold-plated design. Phantom VIII - a worthy successor to the automotive world’s most famous and luxurious brand.
