Well - I’ve gotta say… Louella & Mike, good Lord… what a wedding! ✨

If you’re hankering for a bit of spring wedding inspiration, this one’s going to deliver like UPS, FedEx & the Royal Mail had a baby… somehow 📦😂

Firstly, The Ravenswood is totally the “hold my beer” of wedding venues 🍺 - that little castle for outdoor ceremonies, it’s like perfection & amazing rolled into one… perfazing!!! Yes! That’s how you describe this place. Then there’s acres of gloriously landscaped garden goodness to explore 🌿 (we did), which means you’re going to have fun getting some truly mouth-watering photos on your wedding day. I even saw two geese and a plethora of goslings making their way to the pond 🪿… the Ravenswood’s premium pond package is a must.

Then there was Louella & Mike. They were just so much fun and a real pleasure to be around, which is why all their friends & family were all such a joy too ❤️ This is exactly what makes a wedding memorable. I was so glad I was there to catch it for them.

Also, weddings at the Ravenswood always have a brilliantly talented team beavering around in the background making it all happen seamlessly 👏 You should check them out!

Have you ever woken up at 4am and thought, “I must try axe throwing”? 🪓

You have? I thought so. Well… you’re going to love Jo & Alf’s wedding then!

Weddings are supposed to be full of fun & joy… but these two took it to the next level 🎉

For Alf & the boys, the day started out with a clay pigeon shoot, followed by single malt poured on the bonnet of his Land Rover Defender. That my friends, is how you start a day. Guns and booze have always been good friends… gladly, no one got shot (which would have put a slight dampener on the day 😅).

For Jo & the girls, it was a little less risky… just booze 🍾 I should point out that we’re at the awesome Huntsmill Farm… which was a first for me (woo)! They have the most amazing bridal prep suite… a beautiful cottage set right in the middle of the grounds - and it’s perfect. You have a very well thought out layout, with dress hooks in all the right places (on the walls - haha).

The ceremony was held in Huntsmill’s very own 18th century barn (the best century for barns apparently) - with plenty of pretty astonishing decorations and flowers 🌿 pushing the rustic charm to the max.

Then came the time for… axe throwing - which got quite competitive. When Jo got the axes… slightly more competitive 😂

During the meal… a large van turned up with Nikkita at the wheel (from ) with some really epic vintage furniture, which was set up in various places around the venue. What a fab idea - pushing cosy to the max ✨ (lots of things got dialled up at this wedding).

Well done to Jo & Alf… for getting married in such style, for having the best wedding dog 🐶, for thinking creatively, for having such amazing family & friends… and thanks for choosing me to capture it all!

Kayla & Chris got married only a stone’s throw from some very pleasing wheat fields 🌾 - so of course we had to drop in on the way to their reception. It was a very bright and sunny day, mixed with cumulus clouds ☀️ - so we had to judge the wind to get the sunlight directly on them. This kind of shot only pops with direct light, and it has to be backlit too - so no one gets blinded!

Thank you Kayla & Chris for walking through all the dodgy parts of this field 😂 - to get to the most amazing view. I think it was worth it. You guys were amazing!

Another 2025 belter, starring Ria & Ben! 🎉

Let me introduce you to this lovely little wedding from last year, which took place on a breathtaking June day in Kent ☀️ (so hay-fever in full swing… big time - but it didn’t affect my cameras). It was very difficult choosing 20 photos… so I’ll have to do another post on this. However, the following places rocked:

Getting ready: 
Ceremony: St Peter’s Church, Firle (no Insta for them)
Reception: 
Me on cameras: (gladly, I’m on Insta!!! 😎)

So three cracking locations then - and I have to say… the vicar at St. Peter’s (also called Peter, I think the Church got there first 😂) was awesome (and pretty cool).

It was actually my first wedding at Michelham Priory… (fresh meat), soooo impressive - so huge… so mediaeval! Apparently they have a ghost 👻, didn’t see anything though… in Victorian attire (as usual). You never hear about a ghost wearing jeans do you?

Ria & Ben were, of course… brilliant to spend the day with (and photograph). Lot’s of fun, lot’s of laughs 😂 (particularly when re-creating a garden statue). They make a great couple (probably why they got married 💍).

Here we go! 🤩 Katie & Jon’s Goodwood House extravaganza! 💪

How do I put this into words? This wedding right here… it was awesome. It was my first time at Goodwood House and I had some serious expectations… I knew about the Festival of Speed & Revival, but so far, I’d never managed to go (and it’s right up my street). My expectations turned out to be like a glass of water in a cocktail bar.🍸Seriously cool place… I’ll be back! Katie & Jon, their families & guests… were spectacular fun. Amazing day! 🔥❤️
