I was born in Leicester, England, but did not discover photography until shortly after moving to London. Originally influenced by the work of Herb Ritts, I have worked to develop my own unique style of photography. I love shooting people, be it portraits (or headshots), events, fashion, film stills or fine art. I am fascinated with creating images by working with other creatives to produce somethi
ng new. What originally started out as a hobby back in 2002 has now become my livelihood after starting Darren Brade Photography in 2014. Recent projects include working for the BFI at the Cannes Film Festival, fashion shoots for menswear designer Helen Anthony, shooting the red carpet for the Royal Premiere of "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and the Cinema Made in Italy Film Festival 2015.
