Cultural Ambassadors Online 2021
to register your interest please email: [email protected]

The Cultural Ambassadors project funded by the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in partnership with Beach Creative is now in its sixth year.
Last year, the course moved online during the first lockdown, four weeks into the 12-week course, and following the popularity of the online sessions, we have decided to try an all-online model.
The course is for over 18s and FREE, but we would hope you will be able to commit to the sessions. There will be 12 weekly sessions, supported by teaching videos and worksheets and a weekly interactive group session online to ask questions, share work and ideas and meet each other. You will not be eligible if you have already studied at degree level
Once enrolled, you will receive a pack of materials and printed worksheets to enable you to engage in all the activities, and there is will a weekly group meeting online. We do not currently have a set start date, but hope it will be ready to run in 3-4 weeks, or sooner if possible!
We will look at: sketchbook and drawing development; paper sculpture installation; mono printing, Lino printing, basic screen printing, fabric design and paint/print; acrylic and watercolour painting, cyanotypes, fanzines and presentation of work.
We hope to be able to have an exhibition of the work produced by participants at Beach Creative when restrictions are lifted.
