Props are a really nice way to create images showing off your sleepy newborn!

I remember I used to hate the thought of putting a baby in a bucket! But I quickly realised that this type of thing supports baby in all the right places whilst also making them look pretty bloody adorable!

So although I do still keep my prop shots pretty simple, I’m a definite convert and this pic is a perfect example why!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a good Xmas!

I’ve had so many lovely clients have babies over Christmas and now I’m getting to meet them all 😍 plus I’m going to be launching my new website hopefully next week, 2023 is already looking very exciting!!

Such a thoughtful, playful little one! Baby Leo is definitely his own little personality and he was not impressed with many of my attempts to make him smile, thank god his Dad was on hand with relentless energy to entertain him 😂😂😂

I love this photo so much! Baby Reuben was so chilled for his session 😍

Also I am doing my best to reply to emails etc but I’ve been booked and blessed for the past few months and I’m quite overwhelmed with work (not complaining!!!) so apologies for any slow responses, feel free to nudge me if It’s urgent!

Siblings are so adorable! Joel, this big brother isn’t even 2 yet, which often means he would be totally confused by the new baby and probably not that interested, but Joel is such a happy soul who was delighted with his new little brother!

It can be quite hard to capture the 2 kids together at this age as the older sibling often doesn’t like staying still, but this set up is often super cute as big brother/sister can look at baby and hopefully keep their attention for even a few mins whilst I capture the shot.

These 2 are just the cutest!!

The most perfect bundle of joy! It’s been such a pleasure working with this gorgeous, warm and loving family! Getting to hang out with such lovely families in my home studio is one of many reasons I have the best job, I also love that they have gorgeous photos of their family to treasure forever!
