Some recent portraits I photographed at - The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

There’s a lot of conversation right now about the new hospital planned for Hillingdon. New buildings, new facilities, all very important.

But spending time there with my camera reminded me that the real heart of a hospital isn’t the building.

It’s the people.

The nurses, doctors and staff who show up every day to care for others. My job was simply to capture a few of those faces in their own environment.

Always an honour to photograph people who do work that genuinely matters.

If your organisation needs natural portraits of the people behind the work, I’d love to help.

I captured a truly elegant nikkah at the stunning Desi Lounge on Bethnal Green Road a coupel weeks ago. There were so many little details that made the day unforgettable – from the colours, to the flowers to the glittering golds.

I love documenting these intimate, meaningful moments. If you’re planning your own wedding or celebration, I’d be honoured to capture it.

I had the honour of being back at Parliament again in January to photograph The Drive Partnership’s 10-Year Anniversary Parliamentary Reception at Portcullis House.

The Drive Partnership is a specialist consortium (Respect, SafeLives, and Social Finance) working to end domestic abuse by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of high-risk, high-harm, and serial perpetrators.

Hosted by Josh Babarinde OBE MP and attended by Jess Phillips MP, Dame Nicole Jacobs and Jess Asato MP, it was an evening that marked ten years of committed, collaborative work supporting survivors and driving change.

I love photographing events where people, purpose and connection really matter.

Working with charities and organisations looking for thoughtful, people-focused event photography.

Photographing a breast cancer awareness event at Whittington Hospital, co-hosted with UCLH. So much strength in one room. Stories shared, support shown, and a powerful reminder of why community and early awareness matter.

I met this fabulous human while photographing at the Royal Free, and we clicked instantly. One flippant comment about how hot he looked in his portrait led to a brief moment of social panic on my part, quickly resolved when he burst out laughing. Friendship secured.

Over the next few weeks I photographed the Royal Free Oscars, where Peter and the ED swept award after award, and then, not long after, his Filthy & Fabulous 40th. From hospital corridors to glitter and cake.

The final twist? Peter’s work wife turned out to be the ED doctor, an old friend of mine and former head of the PTA at my sons’ primary school. Because London is just a small village pretending to be a city.

This is one of my favourite things about photography: you turn up for a job, and sometimes you walk away with brilliant images, great stories, and a new friend you fully did not expect to make in a hospital corridor.

I had the honour of photographing a marketing day run by .create focused on girls’ education and empowerment. Each girl chose a word or tip she wanted to share with other girls, creating moments full of insight, confidence, and individuality.

As a boy mum, it was fascinating to see how the young female mind approaches life, education, and challenges with such calm assurance. Their confidence and clarity were truly inspiring.

I love corporate photography, and days like this—full of creative briefs, collaboration, and meeting new smiling faces—remind me why. Capturing these moments of purpose and personality is always a joy.

I’ve been photographing the “before” of a courtyard I know all too well – my son’s hospital room overlooked it when he spent four days recovering from life-threatening asthma. Right now, it’s quiet and underused, but the Whittington Health Charity Courtyard Garden Appeal is working to transform it into a safe, peaceful, and accessible garden for patients.

Even a little bit of nature can make a huge difference to wellbeing. Your support can help make this garden a place of calm for patients who need it most.

I had the honour of photographing a small wedding at Chelsea Town Hall. Two lovely grooms, quietly formalising a lifetime of commitment in a way that felt personal and unshowy.

After the ceremony we took a walk through South Kensington in autumn sunshine, stopping for a few relaxed portraits along the way before heading to the Kensington Hotel for an intimate dinner with friends. Warm, thoughtful, and beautifully understated.

Had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous Kensington apartment for the talented architect Cordelia . I joined her as she oversaw the finishing touches and snagging, and it was amazing to see every detail come together.

The clients’ love of blues and turquoises flows through the space, complemented by Cordelia’s signature bespoke cabinetry and thoughtfully designed interiors. Every corner feels considered, curated, and full of personality.

And the rooftop views of London? Simply breath-taking.

Capturing a space like this—where design, detail, and personality meet—is always a joy.

Celebrating 25 years of Respect

I recently photographed the 25th anniversary parliamentary event for Respect UK , a charity that has spent a quarter of a century doing impactful work to prevent domestic abuse and promote safe, respectful relationships.

Hosted by MP Katrina, the event brought together a veritable who’s who of activism on behalf of women, including Dame Vera Baird DBE KC, Jess Phillips MP, Dame Nicole Jacobs, and Jo Todd CBE, alongside practitioners and advocates working at every level of change.

As a photographer, I get great satisfaction from working with causes I believe in. Documenting Respect’s work was a reminder of how sustained, thoughtful effort over many years can genuinely shift policy, practice and lives. If you’re able to, I’d encourage you to learn more about their work or support them here: https://respect.uk.net

I loved photographing this beautiful bespoke kitchen by talented architect and interior designer Cordelia Hanel — a space that feels calm, bright and quietly elegant. The way light pours in from the garden gives it such a gallery feel, and the family’s antique dining table adds a touch of history and heart.
