Japan is a 10/10… but not every cherry blossom spot lives up to the hype 🌸🇯🇵
Save this for your Japan trip.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but here are 5 sakura spots I’d personally rethink if you hate crowds:
1️⃣ Chureito Pagoda
2️⃣ Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
3️⃣ Yasaka Pagoda (Hōkan-ji Temple)
4️⃣ Keage Incline
5️⃣ Shibuya Sakura Street
They’re beautiful… but, the experience often means bottleneck queues, crowds, or surprisingly few (or none) blossoms.
The good news? Japan has many alternatives that offer the atmosphere without the chaos.
