I studied and photographer first as a young artist and photographer in 2010 in an event at where I was a student and an event photographer. I was lucky enough to be able to buy one of his off prints he donated to LCC for end of year students to finance their final show. I spent what I didn’t have because I fell in love with his work. Like half the world did.

Im sorry to hear he passed being still so young. RIP Martin Parr.

In May I worked as a photo educator at Buckingham Palace in relation to the Royal Portraits photography exhibition with a beautiful collaboration with the NGO Reinassance Foundation that supports young people with family care responsibilities.

From art-photography to photo-education. I have been a photography mentor and a project tutor at the University of the Arts London and the LCCA and also a commercial photographer for 15 years. In this project I have encouraged, accompanied and taught a group of young people by analyzing the great photographers of the English Royal House throughout history. We have practiced in the palace, and then we have gone to their ‘day-to-day’ and applied the inspiration and learning to their ‘normal’ lives. For me it has been an absolute privilege to collaborate with the NGO Renaissance Foundation and the Royal Palace, together with my fellow photographer Olivia Hemingway

The result of the work carried out by the young people is displayed in the Family Pavillion of Buckingham Palace for the duration of the exhibition that opened in June at Buckingham Palace ‘Royal Portraits’. Impressive exhibition curated by Alessandro Nasini.

I had the absolute honor to photograph Dame Philida Barlow back in 2019 when collaborating with the Nasher Sculpture Center Prize were she was a juror. Her warmth and presence was fulfilling, and her loss will be felt strongly not only in the arts but also by people touched by her. My deep condolences to her family and friends.
RIP Philida.
