Time for myself: a story that surprised me

When I came to the shoot, I expected to see my client, who had ordered an individual photo shoot. I was preparing for a regular portrait shoot, thinking through the details, how to make her mood the central element of the frame. But I could not even imagine how amazing this moment would be.

A beautiful woman in her eighth month of pregnancy appeared in front of me. At first, I was a little taken aback, because we had not discussed that the shoot would be about such an important period in her life. But then I was overcome with real admiration.

Pregnancy is a time of change, expectations, worries and excitement, especially if you already have a family and children. We are used to organizing shoots for families, for a couple, to capture moments of unity. But here there was something special: she chose this time exclusively for herself.

For me, this was an incredible lesson. We, women, often forget about ourselves, especially when a family, children and a million things appear in our lives. We put ourselves last, putting off “me time” for later. But this woman reminded me that now is that moment. That taking care of yourself is not selfishness, but an investment in your inner happiness, which then radiates into the world around you.

This shoot was a true dedication to her strength and beauty. I tried to convey her emotions in every frame - a slight smile, deep thoughts and that calm happiness that only happens when you are in harmony with yourself.

I want to tell every woman: stop. You deserve time for yourself. Look in the mirror, understand how beautiful you are. Feel how the energy lives inside you, capable of changing the world. This is your time, and it is worth it.

Photography is not just shots, it is a story about you, a reminder that you are important. Be brave, love yourself and do not be afraid to choose a moment just for yourself.

Why do we remember our travels but forget about home?

Every family has dozens of photos from their trips: beaches, mountains, famous landmarks… But for some reason, we rarely include in the frame our homes, where the warmest and most genuine moments are born.

This year has been a year of changes, big meetings, important trips, studying and work for me. It was a year of opportunities and discoveries, but at the same time, a year that tested my strength. Today, I have been sitting in the emergency room with my child for seven hours, and there is only one thing on my mind: I am so damn tired.

We often forget about ourselves in the race for tasks, results and the desire to be the best. But the body is the first signal that it is time to stop, take a breath, think about yourself.

This year has given me an incredible amount: new clients, successful projects, inspiration from studying and traveling. There were also bright moments with my family, when we laughed until we cried and enjoyed simple joys. But now, sitting in the emergency room, I understand how important it is to find balance.

This post is a reminder to myself and, perhaps, to some of you: your energy is always hidden behind a large number of plans and ambitions. And you can’t borrow it, because you will always have to pay back with interest.

December has become for me not only a time of summing up, but also an important lesson. A lesson to slow down, appreciate every minute, fill up, so as not to devalue your victories. Let’s sum up the year with gratitude, but not forgetting that there is still a whole life ahead. And for it, you need strength. Do you have any strength left in December?! Now there will be a super personal and frank post

3 years ago I left the job I lived and breathed, I moved to a new country with a month-old baby in my arms, and a three-year-old with a speech delay. To a country whose language I did not speak
A new country, stress for children, adaptation, the exclusion of my 4-year-old son from school for biting a child for 5 days. Child psychologist, tears at night. I understood that not only my children but also I live in stress.
I gained 16 kg and did not recognize myself. It was a very strong stress and emotional period for me.
And then, in the midst of all this chaos, photography entered my life. I found myself.
Everything changed when I decided to take a bold step - I went to study photography in Portugal.
There, for the first time, I was on the other side of the lens, alone, without a husband and family.
I’ll tell you honestly, it was scary, it was unusual, I didn’t know what to do, but these photos opened up a new me to me, they told me that I was alive, they weren’t my mother or my wife, but me, a little wounded, a little unsure of myself, but real, I saw myself as a woman in them.
It was a breath of fresh air. From that moment on, I realized how important it is to find balance
It is important for me to give this feeling to other women. I do everything so that my clients can also look at themselves in a new way, feel their strength and beauty, and escape from everyday life and stress.
In any situation, you need to choose yourself, it’s like on an airplane: first you put a life jacket on yourself, and only then on your child.
Today I can confidently say that everything fell into place. I found harmony in myself and my life, and photography became the key that opened new doors for me. Through the lens, I not only convey the beauty of other people, but also continue to find my place in this world. I work with couples, families, and women, I help them find time for themselves, pay attention to themselves, I consider this my mission because I know better than anyone what it is like to be at an emotional low.
