People often ask how photographing high-profile portraits translates into wedding photography.

For me, it’s exactly the same skill set.

Whether I’m photographing an actor like Nick Mohammed for SBS Australia and their World Cup campaign, or a bride and groom on their wedding day, it’s all about making people feel comfortable, building trust quickly and capturing genuine expressions rather than forced poses.

The camera is only half the job. The real craft is helping people relax enough to be themselves—and that’s what creates photographs that still feel honest years later.

Highlights from Cynthia and Adrian's recent wedding at Hampton Court House, a beautiful venue next to Bushy Park. One of my favourite parts of a wedding day is 'getting ready', filled with excitement and anticipation! The 'shell grotto' is a unique spot on the grounds and I felt it needed some external flash to help them pop in the photo - hope you like!

I really love how this shot turned out. I've exposed fully for the portrait highlights in the frame (the sun catching their faces), which has provided a nice subtle outline to them both, creating a warm, relaxing and intimate feeling to the photo. It feels like a very, quiet, still and emotional moment.

A few bride and groom photos from Tess and Alex's wedding at York House, Twickenham, with the reception at Harbour Hill Hotel, Richmond...hence the short walk to the terrace on Richmond Hill for some awesome sunset photos! : )
